Description
This is a drawing of *GulRejal's character, Brenok, from the story "Lost." The cat's name is Teti. Here, Brenok has been going through an extremely rough time, but Teti knows and is determined to help.
I know there are flaws in this, but I felt like I'd done well with the face, and that messing with it too much would do more harm than good.
I actually used a photo of Bond villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld to figure out the basic details of the pose and chair (what can I say...they were the best man + Persian cat photos I could find anywhere), but changed the pose and mood.
(For those unfamiliar with "Soft Kitty," it's a song from Big Bang Theory that Sheldon always wants sung to him when he doesn't feel well. Here's the song, with some soft kitties as a bonus... www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCGDU-… )

I don't know the character but the face does look well executed 
I like the emotion you can see in the gentle expression. The cat's pose is also very cute and you get a sense of connection between the two of them.
The rest of the pose suffers a little from inattentiveness to detail in achieving proportional balance between left and right. For instance, the upper arm on the left of the picture is longer than the right, the hand on the left is larger than the one on the right and so on. Also bear in mind that in humans (and many humanoids) a hand is roughly the same length as the face.
This is a nice, imaginative piece that has many merits. Keep up the good work
